Privacy Policy

ExpertAI (operated by AI Launchpad, Inc., “we”, “us”) provides AI-adoption tools — an AI assistant chat, readiness assessments, use-case and roadmap builders — and an optional connection to human domain experts. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and our mobile and desktop apps.

What we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and (for email/password sign-up) a password, which is stored in hashed form by our authentication provider. You may optionally add a display name.
• Google Sign-In data. If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us, and we use it solely to create and authenticate your account. We request only basic profile and email scopes. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access any other Google data (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, etc.).
• Information you provide to the tools. Assessment answers, chat messages, and the details you submit to our optional email-capture form (first name, work email, company name).
• Expert and application data. If you request a human expert or apply to become one, we collect the contact details, and (for applicants) the CV, photo, and profile information you submit.
• Usage data. Anonymous behavioural data such as which tabs you visited and how many messages you sent, used to personalise your experience and improve the product.
• Payment data. If you subscribe or buy a report, payment is processed by our payment providers; we receive your subscription status but never your full card details.

How we use it

We use your data to: create and secure your account; provide the AI tools and deliver your reports; connect you with a human expert when you ask; process payments and manage subscriptions; send you your report, a notification to our team, and — if you opt in — a short email sequence (up to 3 emails over 7 days) about AI adoption; and to operate, secure, and improve the service. We process this data to perform our contract with you, with your consent (e.g. marketing emails), and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We never sell your data, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or share it with third parties except as described below.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), ConvertKit (optional marketing email), Stripe and Paystack (payments), Sentry (error monitoring, with PII scrubbing), and PostHog (privacy-first analytics). When you request or provide expert services, relevant contact details are shared with the specific expert or requester to enable that introduction.

Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterwards only as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active systems within 30 days.

Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Signed-in users can update their profile, manage email preferences, and delete their account from the in-app account area. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email. To exercise any right — including access, correction, deletion, or objection — email privacy@ai-launchpad-v1.com or unsubscribe@ai-launchpad-v1.com. You may also revoke ExpertAI’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to track your session (e.g. to avoid showing the sign-up form more than once). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data storage and security

Data is stored securely in Supabase (EU region). Access is restricted, transmissions are encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and error logs are processed by Sentry with PII scrubbing enabled.
